The Athletics Running Club Castelló d' born in October 2005, in a conversation of friends after participating in the month of September in Teruel Half Marathon for the sole purpose of having a good weekend together, wished that those moments were not only an anecdote to remember. The small group of participants in that race was the beginning of this adventure that will increasingly incorporating more people whose sole purpose is to enjoy running in the company. Practice
main sport of athletics, both in racing and mountain asphalt and is seconded to the Athletics Federation of Valencia and Mountain Section attached to the FEMECV.
Since its inception, the club wanted to be proactive in terms of practice and development of this sport. Although little time has elapsed since its founding, its members have participated in numerous races run by other clubs and entities, some of them also getting good grades and outstanding successes.
Another step towards consolidation of this club in the sports of the city of Castellon and its province has been the organization of our own race, "MOUNTAIN COURSE Tombatossals" project in which year we strive and hope, and we try promote both sportsmanship and respect for and care of our forests, and collaboration in organizing "Marx MUNTANYA of Vilanova d'Alcolea.
